Lenin Carballido supposedly died in 2010, so Mexican authorities are totally confused how an apparently still-alive Carballido was elected mayor in the state of Oaxaca. Three years ago, Carballido was under investigation for a gang rape when his family suddenly produced a legit-looking death certificate claiming he had died of natural causes after a diabetic coma.

But ? it?s a miracle! ? Carballido came back from the dead to run for mayor, putting his face on campaign signs across the city. Hope he hasn?t moved his stapler and paper clips into the mayor?s desk yet ? he won?t be allowed to take office.
